The HC-201 organic sulfur hydroconversion catalyst is a CoMo catalyst commonly found in large-scale ammonia plants used for hydroconversion of feed gases (organic sulfur). Formed as a Φ3mm extrudate, the organic sulfur hydroconversion catalyst suits hydroconversion of light oils or gaseous hydrocarbons in petrochemistry.

The hydrogenation reaction with the help of the organic sulfur hydroconversion catalyst takes place at 300-450℃, and the initial temperature shall be 350-380℃. If the sulfur concentration in feed oil stays below a certain limit, 0.2ppm, e.g. for a long time, sulfur discharge phenomenon will occur. Hence, for a two-section oil hydrogenation system, operating temperature in the first section should be such that can ensure a 2-10ppm sulfur concentration in effluent naphtha, so the catalyst in the second section can be maintained under the sulfided sate.
Packing: Shrink wrap the organic sulfur hydroconversion catalyst in 200L steel drums lined with plastic bags, with 3 or 4 drums per pallet.
