Shift catalyst includes conventional base metal compositions both for applications at high and low temperature. The catalyst has the form of a tablet or extrudate. Three types of shift catalyst are available at Chempack. The high temperature shift catalyst SHT-101 is used to quicken the conversion of CO combined with steam into H2 and CO in ammonia plants or hydrogen production units. The high temperature shift catalyst suits use in both radial and axial/radial high temperature shift converters. For the low temperature shift catalyst SHT-111 and SHT-112 used for CO conversion, they are applied in ammonia synthesis and hydrogen production processes, which use coal, naphtha, natural gas and oil field gas as feedstock. The low temperature catalyst is especially suitable for axial-radial low temperature shift converters.
