Ammonia Decomposition Catalyst - Nickel based Catalyst (Similar to Germany G117)
AD-946 Ammonia Decomposition Catalyst is developed with active component of Ni and other additives on high-fired carrier with very good crush strength and high thermal stability. AD-946 has the properties of good catalytic activity, high mechanical strength and excellent thermal and coking resistance. It is used in the ammonia decomposing furnace and Claus furnace to decompose the NH3 and HCN into N2, H2 and CO2 to purify the coke-oven gas to protect the atmospheric environment and prevent the equipment from corrosion.
The chemical reaction principle:
NH2→0.5N2 + 1.5H2
2HCN + 2H2O+O2→N2+5H2+2CO2
